# Importar saldo inicial de stock - Mensaje: “org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup”

**Consulta** :

Al importar Saldos Iniciales de Stock, sale el siguiente mensaje:

**Respuesta:**

El inconveniente se encuentra en que el archivo xls contiene caracteres especiales, como por ejemplo: \>, \<, &, etc.

**Solución:**

Para evitar problemas al importar, asegúrate de que los campos del archivo a importar no contengan estos caracteres. Si aparecen, deben ser eliminados o corregidos antes de realizar la importación.
